AviNex

Airline Electronic Flight Bag

The connected EFB for airline flight and cabin operations.

AviNex brings the operational flight plan, station weather and NOTAMs, airport charts, documents, weight and fuel, flight log and RVSM checks into one flight record — shared between operations control and the crew, and available offline once the flight package is on the device.

Illustrative interface. Sample data.

Built around the flight, not the paperwork

  • One flight record

Everything the crew needs for a sector, organised in one place: OFP, stations, charts, documents, weight and fuel, flight log and RVSM.

  • Dispatch-to-crew handshake

Operations releases the flight; the captain accepts it with a signature or declines it with a reason, and operations can redispatch.

  • Offline by design

Download the flight package once and keep working without a connection. Data is stored in an encrypted on-device database.

  • Every change visible

Updates after release arrive with an update banner and a change history, so the crew always knows what changed.

Flight lifecycle

From dispatch to block-in

One record follows the flight through every stage.

  1. Dispatch

Operations control receives the OFP and releases the flight to the crew — or makes it available for information only.

  2. Pre-flight

The crew downloads the flight package and reviews the OFP, station weather and NOTAMs, airport charts and flight documents. Priority notices are read before the EFB opens.

  3. Acceptance

The captain accepts the flight with a signature, or declines it with a reason. The METAR and TAF current at acceptance are recorded in the flight history.

  4. In flight

Record OUT, OFF, ON and IN times, actual times over waypoints, direct-tos, fuel and RVSM altimeter checks.

  5. Post-flight

Completion checks flag missing entries, the flight is completed with a signature, and AviNex builds a completed flight report package for the operation.

FAQ

Common questions

Read the FAQ

Does AviNex work offline?

Yes. After the flight or duty package is downloaded, crews can keep working without a connection. A connection is needed to download packages and to sync entries back to operations.

How do flight plans get into AviNex?

AviNex receives operational flight plans in ARINC 633 format. Operations control then decides when each flight is released to the crew.

Does AviNex calculate aircraft performance?

No. Crews record takeoff and landing data such as runway, runway condition, V-speeds and flap setting. AviNex stores and shows these values; it does not compute performance.
